Ready-to-Wear Jewellery:

Exchange or store credit only within 15 days of purchase or delivery. Items must be unworn and returned with all packaging, certificates, and tags. No refunds.

Earrings:

Final sale for hygiene reasons unless fully unworn.

Sized or Adjusted Jewellery:

• May be exchanged within 15 days if unworn and undamaged.

• Any re-sizing fees apply if exchanging for store credit.

Inspection:

All exchanges require proof of purchase and are subject to CEJ approval.
Items showing wear, damage, or unauthorized alterations will not be accepted.

Deposits:

A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to begin all custom orders.

Design & CAD Approval:

• Approval confirms all design details.
• Changes after approval may incur additional fees.
• Final handmade products may vary slightly from digital renders (normal industry standard).

Natural Variations:

• Customers acknowledge that gemstones may have natural variations in colour, inclusions, and
symmetry.

• Hand-crafted jewellery may display subtle differences and minor tool marks — these are not
defects.

Included Appraisal:

A complimentary appraisal is available upon request for all custom jewellery.

Lifetime Craftsmanship Warranty:

• Covers structural defects due to craftsmanship.

• Does not cover wear & tear, accidental damage, stone loss from impact, or issues from improper
care or unauthorized repairs.

Small Stone Replacement:

• Free replacement of stones under 2mm for 1 year from delivery/pickup.

• Complimentary Resizing

• Custom engagement rings include one free resizing within the first year.

Lifetime Cleaning & Prong Checks:

Cleaning, prong checks, and basic inspections are complimentary anytime.

Lifetime Stone Tightening:

Offered free of charge as needed.

Appraisals & Updates:

• Free appraisal for all custom pieces and purchases over $1,500
• Paid appraisals available for other pieces
• Free appraisal update every 3 years

Insurance Requirement:

CEJ is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage after the item leaves our possession.

Insurance is strongly recommended.**

• Rush requests may be subject to additional fees.

• CEJ is not responsible for delays caused by suppliers, couriers, or customs.

Shipping Coverage:

We ship within Canada and the USA.
International customers are responsible for duty and taxes.

Delivery Timeframes:

Orders ship within 5 business days unless specified otherwise.

Shipping Liability:

Once a package is marked “delivered” by the carrier, the order is considered fulfilled.
Optional shipping insurance is available upon request.

• Pieces are not released until fully paid.

• No in-house financing or payment plans.

Debit, credit, cash, and e-transfer.

All designs, CADs, logos, images, and written content are the exclusive property of Canadian

Expert Jewellery and may not be reproduced without written permission.
